Paetec is now a part of Windstream

Windstream has completed its acquisition of Paetec. As a Paetec master agent, MCS will still be able to provide the same Paetec services with little immediate change. As of right now, the biggest change is that of branding. The Paetec name is now Windstream. MCS will continue to provide telecommunications services from Windstream as well as AT&T, Comcast, Mediacom, Sprint, Global Crossing, Level 3, and others.

Windstream Corp is headquartered in Little Rock, Ark. and is an S&P 500 communications and technology solutions provider. Windstream provides IP-based voice, data services, MPLS networking, data center, cloud computing, managed hosting services and communication systems to businesses and government agencies nationwide. The company also delivers broadband, digital phone and high-definition TV services to residential customers primarily located in rural areas and operates a local and long-haul fiber network spanning approximately 100,000 route miles.

Here at MCS, we see the acquisition as a positive move that we are excited to seeing what is to come.
